That got your attention :D

Since the ratting season is due again soon, i thought i had better show my face on here again since Millet is away on a sabatical lol, and some of my pals will need their ratting report fix :D

Havent been at the bunnies much yet this season for one reason of another, but a couple of times we did pretty good.

This night Started off with Rudie and Lil (Millets bitch) Hard slogging up some rather steep hills, will lots of rabbits and Rudie accounted for 17....dont know how many Lil got as i have enough of a job remembering my own dog

Then back to the car left Rude boy and collected Boo...I took them both so they could at least get a look out each with hunting time being limited at the mo.

Boo did me proud, catching 27 beating his personal best by one. It was enough for him by then so back to the car with the dogs. We had rabbits scattered at various gate posts so took the 4x4 up the hills to collect them. We had Rudie in the car with us at this stage and noticed even more rabbits had come out since we had lamped them previously so not wanting to miss any we continued to lamp rudie at we collected the rabbits and he went on to catch another 22 bringing his total to 39 for the night another personal best and not bad going for a 1st cross :boogy:

Bringing the total for the night to........... 99  :icon_eek: it would be cruel to try to get one of the dogs to even attempt another, this early in the season they were not at their fittest....i did offer to lamp one for Millet to catch but he wouldn't be on lol

Then a couple weeks later and back again, no Rude boy this time due to some pretty deep barb wire cuts, conditions were not ideal, but both dogs got a good 20 rabbits each before returning to the car, Millet then wandered with Lil whilst i positioned all the rabbits and returned with another 2

Also had a couple of days out with my whole pack, not massive numbers but nice for the dogs to work together as a team, and mother nature even provided a few mixied rabbits for the 10yr old terrier to get a few catches :D
