These are called 'flechettes'...and they cause serious damage... whether that be to a squirrel... or a person... So caution needs to be taken when shooting these... what comes up...must come down... So... Some 6mm threaded rod...cut into 3" lengths.... M6 wingnuts...and PARACORD ...LOL... sharpen the end of the rod into a sharp point... wind the wingnut down...about 15mm from the end..and secure with a bit if superglue... Gut the paracord... and use the inner strand... secured with s bit if superglue and attach the paracord... these are the 'flies' ... Tidy up with a bit of elastic or tape... Using a screw or knife... unthread the nylon cord... NOW ONTO THE BANDS... using some gutted paracord... tie two loops... Using some alcohol gel...(or spit)... sit the loops in the tubed elastic... DONT singe the ends of the loops... it will cut the elastic from the inside... Tie off with the constrictor knot and the inner strands if paracord... Attach to catapult frame as usual... You hold the flechettes in the bands like so... CUT THE BANDS SHORTER AS YOU LOSE DRAW LENGTH WITH THESE. Cheers... Edited November 30, 2013 by B.P.R 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

What distance they accurate/powerful to? For me... id say about 15...maybe 20 feet... they drop quite a bit as you seen... but if you can hit with them... they would be devastating... So whats your view now you tried them ... Ok if you can practice with them..and work out the amount of drop...at each distance... they were dropping heavily at 30feet or so...
