1StunnedRabbit 1
Hi, hopefully i will soon be appling for my SGC and have a couple of questions which i have tried to find the answer for but to no avail. 1. Do i need to apply for a certain gauge of gun/ammo like a FAC or if i get my SGC can i buy whichever i see fit for the purpose? 2. If i buy a gun that is semi auto or pump action is there a limit to how many shells i can hold in that gun i.e. If the gun can hold 6 shells can i legally load 6 in to it? Thanks for any help Quote Link to post
air gun ant 1,666
Hi mate, with the SGC you can buy as many shotguns of whatever gauge you like as long as you can store them correctly. If you buy a semi or pump you can have no more than 3 shots, if you want more you will need to get an FAC. Hope this helps Atb ant 1 Quote Link to post

walshie 2,804
I'm sure you understood the above answer, but to clarify, the 3 shots in a semi or pump INCLUDE the 1 in the chamber. i.e. only 2 in the magazine. (2+1) Quote Link to post
shotgun12 11
some police will let you hold lots of guns, but where i am avon and somerset, i can hold 5 guns, with out an alarm..if i wont 6 and over then the house must be alarmed. Quote Link to post
