I didnt make this sheet.....

But it is super easy to make.... dont kniw what yous sre doing wrong....

Cut into 1/2cm squares....

Put into a metal bowl....old dog bowl would work....

Put into oven for 60 mins.... 190degrees....

Pry it out.... into square mould....

Clamp for an hour.... then take out....

And sit on the side until cool.....

EASY PEASY...

Save offcuts from sawing.... to re-melt....

Not sure mate.... but this 'recycled' HDPE is super strong

I need lessons on melting this stuff :cray:

So do i mate

It doesn' t melt to a liquid - an hour in the oven softens it just enough to be able to clamp it flat. I used a ceramic mixing bowl, like the one Mrs.B mixes cakes in ( :whistling: ) , but I lined it with oiled foil, and it made it much easier to get it out of the bowl and into the clamp - the hardest bit I think as you need to work quickly....christ it's hot !!

Keep the oven at 180 or 190 tops - and it won't work in a pan because by the time the centre has heated up, the edges are burnt (as you discovered!). You're right though, it does seem to appeal to the 12 year old in us all !!
