NZ is great for all of the above, I've done a few stints in the South Island, I worked in pest control mainly T.B control programs monitoring and eradication for possums and ferrets. Also did a bit of rabbit control at times. Managed to do a bit of deer stalking my spare time I'll post a few pics from my home computer when I get a chance.

I'm sure you'll have a great time.

cracker that mate, NZ sounds great place to hunt+live , is it hard to get in the country, if you dont have a trade.? my mate sister lives on the north side, but her fella is a carpenter (trade) thats how they got in .! i think they said if you got money to take over there its not to bad getting in .?

Always fancied New Zealand, one place I'd really like to go.....

The fishing and hunting sound fantastic and i'd like a go at the white water rafting out there, you should be in for a good trip mate

I'm sure if only going for a holiday or hunting trip you should have no worries, if you are looking to immigrate there will be a set of criteria you have to meet but don't think NZ is that Strict details will be on the Nz govt immigration page. If you are under 31 or 35 depending on Nationality of your passport you might be able to get a working holiday visa.

the problem with NZ reds are that all the big ones you hunt with guides are either behind wire or bred behind wire. In a few areas there are genuinely free range deer that has stolen those genetics and gone wild but for the most part fair dinkum wild nz reds can be pretty average.

 

I thought the Euro reds were meant to be huge anyways aren't they?
