Bloody great weekend, and I think the unsung heroes of the weekend were rog for keeping the games in order and like a true mad dog englishman staying out in the midday sun all day saturday in order to judge them, what a star.

Secondly,a massive thanks to ann for her sterling service behind the scenes in the kitchen all weekend and her ability to make a proper cup of yorkshire tea under pressure.

Finally darryl for his excellent curry and stepping up to the plate as it were in time to save the breakfast this morning, thanks guys for all your help, youre all top folk.

And to everyone who attended, you were great, loads of fun, booze and banter, what a great fun scorcher of a weekend.

Chewers as usual to davy and chas for sorting the whole thing out in the first place, a pair of heroes, so you are.

Finally, big thanks to tony, you know why you generous bugger!

Cheers all, wurz

HUFF, not one person has complimented the brilliant un-biased judge, the judge made the extremely hard job so easy. It was bad enough that you erected a cover to protect the poor old hard done by shooters, we cant let them lay down for a while in the sun. NO but the brilliant un-biased judge can sit out in the burning sun all day, he's a real man never once drawing attention to his plight. Just goes to show how true the old sayings are, the fact that he is one of the "HARD SOUTHERNERS". You just should thank your lucky stars that he wasn't one of the "Northern flat cap and whippet brigade", if you want proof of the Northern shandy drinkers read earlier posts made by Daz. He owns up to the fact that he couldn't even keep up with the godly Davy (porno chops), the godly Davy only ever drinks at these meets so alcohol is very strange thing for him.

roger, to show something towards how I feel towards your contribution to the whole weekend, I will try and find some sort of exotic welsh wood, cut the whole bloody tree down for you to shelter from the (rare but welcome) sun and then try and make sure the chainsaw works so you can select choice cuts to work your magic and chaz can burn the rest

Hey guy's,

I had an amazing time at the meet, gorgious weather, brilliant friends and easy to get along with new people :notworthy: You all know what my memory is like, so I've forgotten almost all the names already

It was great to re-aquaint myself with the Beast again and rekindle my love of shooting a recoiler. I had forgotten how much of a sense of achievement you get when you thread a 5.5mm chunk of lead through a hole that wasn't much bigger than the pellet.

Wurz, just a small gratitude

Si, Davy and Chaz, yet again you pulled off an awsome time for us all :clapper::cheers: and did so in such a pleasent and informal, relaxed way I actually slept like a for the first time in months.

Roger  much appreciated you know why! How did you managed to sit and judge in that seriousley extreme heat?

It was also nice to see the youngsters having a great time and putting a couple of us more experianced shooters to shame with their marksmanship skills  wasn't it Adam :whistling: You packed that trophy yet?

A special thanks to Chris, for being my Chaufer to and from the meet, I was not looking forward to missing it and thanks to you bud, I didn't

Finally, THANKS to everyone who attended, the regs It was great to see you all again, to the noobs, it was lovely to meet you guy's.

All the best to you

Tony

Any photos from anyone yet???

Darryl

Darryl I know I only took about two photo's and a few video clips. I know that both Davy and Si wanted to have just a relaxed meet and not have to worry about filming. And what happened with your gun?

Hello one and all. Just want to take this opportunity to thank you all for making my first meet a great one and to apologise for having to do a runner on you. Unfortunately I was recalled as my mum was/is ill in hospital. Felt like a real shit to do one but family must come first. But the time I had there was great and you all made me feel welcome.. and drunk.. and slightly hung over. As already said, big thanks to Davy (the man who hugs more the more he drinks) Si, wurz and Rog. Fantastic event. I'll make sure there aren't any interruptions next time around.

Thanks again lads :thumbs:  :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:
