Lol What about my 4oz grip weights and size 2/0 hooks? Would it really be that much out of place next to a blow up canoe? Seriously though, I've got a very light 8ft spinning rod, would that be ok for fishing a river? You'll be looked after with gear if you need it mate, the same as this year I'll bring spare and the other lads will too..
