Thl Charity Fishing Comp

Recommended Posts

I wasnt there Gnash but Wales1234 won the match with heaviest bag, Mick C won the Craigyboy cup for heaviest fish..

Lab then went on and won the Craigyboy cup after he wrecked it after the match at the post match celebration, and it was rededicated at a later date into the biggest tit/most foolish drunk award after the cup had been replaced with a new one!

the more I think about it the more of a success it was -- with the fish caught or not -the cash raised -the way the whole thing came together with the club... fishing b n b all just up the road campin

ffs do the 2 nights --fly to east mids airport then the lads from round might get a mini bus up ---knowing stewie he`ll know a weed smoking Guinness drinking match fisherman --- that runs a coach comp

Sounds like you boys had a good time,i know nothing about fishing it would bore me silly but would still be good to put a few faces to names, might be a giggle think i might make the effort next time round.......who/what was the money raised going to just out of interest ?

From the little bit id read a month or so ago Socks or Lurcher1 were looking like battling it out for number 1 spot.........but i guess they werent banking on some proper fishermen showing up :D

Well socks didn't make it and Lurchet1 didn't fish lol.. The lad that won didn't have a rod, but went home with a brand new one as first prize, real nice young lad, Wales1234...

All proceeds have gone to McMillan nurses, I've set a just giving page up and there's a link pinned...

I was hoping for a grand and we achieves that so I'm well chuffed..

Lots of people donated prizes, and their time... It was a top effort from everyone who attended...

Hopefully see you next year Gnash, I'll bring you a rod if you fancy a go...
