£1.18 a lb   it was £1 a lb 30 year ago the Mrs works in a supermarket on the admin side and informs me on the shelves its £18.60 a kilo which works out at £8.45 lb in my book 18.60 divided by 2.

The price for roe at the game dealers was £1 a lb over 25 year ago inflation has frozen in time with the price of venison It hardly covers the cost of fuel these days never mind all the other expens

this thread is prime example when our fellow comrades are shooting for the coin and then greed takes over and standards get lowered ............when there is easy money to be made it gets hold of any human and it usually becomes there down fall.........as I found out pulling cable,........its so easy and when the wad is in your hand its more and more you want .........respect goes out the window when it comes to lining pockets .......

Twenty years ago the money was almost the same as todays price taking inflation into account its way down .....and if you stalk you will know its anything but easy ,theirs no guarantee you will get one . If any ones getting a few quid out of venison i'd look up the supply chain a little ..

I second that statement entirely

I consider minimum price paid for Roe should be in excess of £3.80 Kilo Min

Ammo and other costs taken into account.

Due to the prices offered I no longer even consider dealing with game dealers as an option of venison disposal
