Mine kill a lot of ferals and they are on leads in built up areas where their is pet cats, once they kill them, thats it, their is no going back....lol I reckon your young dog would of done foxes before the ban , as he has power a plenty and seems to have the heart as well. your deff right with young Buck, since the other day I swear the prat looking for them. a couple had a little black dog on them extend leads, came round corner Buck seen it and made a move to it, I had him on the lead but he still dragged me 10 ft then stopped once he knew it was a dog, he is strong twat . yeh he would smash a fox no prob pre ban , go be watch him now Quote Link to post

I have a smallholding and when I first moved here the place was swarming with cats and magpies. Consequently... no song birds. However, for those in more urban areas make sure you think about folks pets. I know some people who think as much of their pet cats as I do of my dogs. Mr Mrs has a pet cat and my dogs see him as one of the pack. If something happened to Guinness the cat my other half would be gutted and so would I. Quote Link to post

If something happened to Guinness the cat my other half would be gutted and so would I. true on the pets thing, many times when ive taken my dogs to the vets for what ever, and got chatting to cat owners there, and they feel the same way as we do about our dogs. Suppose apart from motors , and maybe foxes nothing will bother a cat, your average dog wont mess with them, with claws teeth to deal with. And I try my best not to let mine mix it with them, as dog could loose a eye or a bite of the bloody things near as bad. I try to keep my young dog away from them, but since he killed that one , the prat looking for them Quote Link to post
