Crows ?

must b just me then got a new gun and finding it very hard to hit with it its a pedretti o/u but the ting is its not a muti barrel so i only have bottom barrel first i was using 6 32 6, 34 6,36 5, 34 and a few others to try in the new gun and not 1 crow at approxmitley 15 feet away and low at that gave a mate of mine a go who has a very good shot he even found it hard to hit with it y could this b i then used his gun and bang not a bother took them down need help with this cheers lads

they may be to close to you and your shot not having time to pattern propper?

its not a multi choke either mate has me baffeld might just take time to get use to i say as ive alway used a single barrel when i say 15 feet thats the closet but some are of difernt shot but in shotting distance

Crows are tougher than pigeons, but I've had good results with nothing heavier than Eley pigeon, 30g of 6 1/2.

Sometimes though, despite hitting them hard and central, they needed the second barrel to kill them stone dead.

 

One time though, I accidentally grabbed an Alphamax with 50g of no3 shot in it. I've never seen a crow quite so pole-axed before! It fell out of the air on its back. 1/2 choke at 50 yards :toast:
