What Boots?

ALTBERG!

ive worn most types of boots....in most conditions....

And the top two are lowas and altberg.

Lowas are heavier and more durable than the altberg

But for an every day/ walking / lamping / ferreting / fishing / kinky sex games boot....

Id go for altberg sneakers...ive got 2 pairs of these boots...a good pair for work...

And a working / shitty pair for the dog /ferret work and all things dirty

Well ..... I'll be buying British this time, was cleaning my almost new Meindl's today, I think it's quite poor that the rubber is peeling apart on the toe ........ cheap Eastern Euopean made crap is all they are these days.

That would be ok if they were £29.99, but at £190, it's not on!

Altberg will be getting my money I think.

As above though, got a pair of Lowas that are 5 years old now, really well made, no issues at all with them.

Know few lads with meindls, me included wouldent go buy them absolutely quality,

DO NOT GET haix MONTANA, I got a pair, comfy, dry, warm.......... but no grip on wet fields. I rung up the place months later and made out i was interested in buying. they said yeah yeah great boot. I said ' they are apart from you feel like bambi on ice', he then said "well we have had a few complaints about that", i got the HAIX K2and they are a lot better, but shorter, so you need good gaiters

Sad really mate, as you know, I've had my old Borneo for getting on 8 years and they are still bob on. I've always thought i'd go for another pair, or maybe the Glockner but i'd check both out thoroughly before I part with my earnings.

I do also like the Irish Setter Elk hunter and if bought from the States they come in very reasonable... Not to worry just yet though, these old Meindl's are still goin strong.
