Tripe is % moisture with a very low protein level .... Absolutely no good for pups ... You are far better feeding chicken to young pus and as they get older feed fatty beef or a mix of the two .......

tripe is one of the best foods ive found it put some serious weight on pups and dogs but all ways best to add other things too so theyre getting all the minerals and the full spectrum of proeins they

I suspect that there are very few qualified canine nutritionists that inhabit the hunting life forum. You should feed what suits you and your dogs,not what someone on here tells you. I feed the adult dogs on tripe and biscuit with no ill affects at all, but each to thier own.

Bunnys ALL cows tripe is green. who in there right minds going too corn feed a COW

tiny there be store fed cattle on nuts there bellys are white when killed seems likes a may have to trundle op the abbattoir for a few pics some colour some black and white . ha ha ha . atb bunnys.

years ago, when my ole man an uncles had greys we used to go to an aboitour or however ye spell it lol, they used to get offered green or white tripe, dont know what the diffrence was tho, but i know same place done both, they used to get white stuff an it was still hot, to this day i wont feed tripe, put me off it all them years ago :laugh:

fook off, we ate beans an toast, only the dogs got meat :laugh: i have tried it tho, cooked in milk, wasnt that long ago either, was what i would imagine human flesh to taste like :icon_eek: :icon_eek: :bad::laugh:

thank you red , there is obviously those who do not know there is thewhite and green when slaughtered i we avoided those because we knew they had not been on ta grass , atb bunnys..

Tripe is good food in a balanced diet, even for puppies.

 

How one can say it is "no good for puppies" is just wrong. Maybe if it were fed only tripe the yes.

 

Dogs/puppies love tripe and that must say something for it. It encourages good feeding habits and gives appetite.

 

It is high in water and quite low in protein, but dogs gotta have water mun!

the minced shit is full of water the ones straight from abottoir are not.....how people can say its low in protein i dont know its still flesh.....

I DONT believe it low in protein i believe its the right type a protein this is where some fail ta see the difference corn wheat tis for omnivores , flesh bone feather fur and offall alls they needs poor low grade wheat meal corn meal and meat meal is best for tip , with the shite it produces . atb bunnys.

aye its a fact they aint drinking the tap dry on ta tripe and flesh where as it nmay be a different story with some other feed stuffs
