Now revised design, please see post further down for new version.

50mm wide collar with 20mm wide slip lead attached.

Slip goes through the middle of the 50mm collar part, allowing adjustment so the wide part is where you want it to be on the dog's neck.

One end has a wrist loop, the other a smaller loop.

Nothing fancy, and to be honest I don't even know if they work.

I'm not looking for helpful advice here thanks all the same, if you can make one differently/better, then off you go and put your own ad up.

They are £8 + 1st class recorded postage. £12 total.

Payment is by bank transfer or over the counter into my account at any Halifax bank branch.

No Paypal, No nothing else.

PM me if you want one, I'll send my details, please send yours once you've paid.

At £8, I will not be entering into a long discussion about them. 2 PM's is all it needs, and that's all it will get.

I'm boring myself now so here's the pic.

These are NOT copied off anyone elses design.

Now revised design.

Tested by someone who should know about these things ........

He said:

"If you put the large loop over your wrist and just let it sit there and
have all the tension by holding the small loop then the lead
automatically tightens and holds the collar tight around the dogs neck
and still works perfectly well when you release it ......."

NOW, Remember that this is a SLIP LEAD, it was not designed to be. nor will it be as secure as a collar and lead, I don't want to be getting any pm's telling me that your dog has been run over because you used it to road walk or anything like that please!

It is what it is, a quick release lead.

With the new one, the slip no longer goes through the middle, it is fixed, it should still fit most normal sized lurchers, the through the middle idea was a sh1t one as it turned out, as the collar went flying off the end when the dog was slipped, not ideal in the dark, that's why I wanted them testing first.

New design, same basic idea, Big loop on your wrist, collar round the neck, small loop through the D, hold the smaller loop, release and marvel as your dog takes off at the speed of light ............

What do you want for £12 including postage FFS

So can I do road work with it and is it as secure as a normal collar and lead???

For sure woz, and Stongstuff will even give his usual lifetime guarantee I'm sure.

That's it mate, they are specially designed for walking dogs to the vets to be PTS, it's called a last stroll collar, they cost 12 quid but they save you 80 on the vets bill.

the only thing i can see to an otherwise spot on design A is, when you slip, "and the dog takes of at the speed of light", the end you have released will go down and through your brass "D", because of the length of it before it reaches the "D", and the sheer velocity of the dogs take off, will it not possibly over run, like a whiplash, and possibly tangle itself up???, going ahead of the collar itself ?? due to the fact that its fixed to the collar at one end. Does that make sense to you mate ?? I know what i'm trying to get accross but it may not have come accross that well lol.

I know what you mean mate, I think that because the webbing is flat tape not round maybe that helps?

The D ring is quite large so there is plenty of space for the slip to run through.

The D is the same size as the ones on my lurcher collars, and the slip lead the same width and length, I've sold a few of those now and not heard anything back that the slips tangle before the dog is off.

I'm sure they will tangle on the cheapskate copies though that will no doubt appear on here within a week ...............

i'm glad you get my drift A, wasnt sure if it came accross thats all. I think the shorter the length of lead as opposed to the collar is better as well for the dog and handler, as a 22" dog say for sake of argument, will have a lot of material to run through the "D" even after the collar has come away from his neck as he's going forward.

Cracking idea though mate, and we all know what standard they will be made to, as is all your other gear.

All the best

Haven't been on here in a while and haven't been shooting in a while so I'm deciding so sell some gear and focus on other things.
Firstly is my BSA lightning tactical xl in .177 comes with hawke hd 3-9x40 scope, one piece mounts and a LED ray gl2 torch with flip up red filter and buffalo river case.
Only fault with the gun is the front sling swivel is missing.
I also have a mad dog growler jacket in APG size medium
A top gun skeet vest size medium
      British army Dpm smock medium-large
British army issue jungle boots size 11
Large jack pike shooting hold all
British army cam net unsure of size but large enough for a personal hide
I would like to see £130 for the rifle but I'm open to offers for everything together in a bundle
Collection only for the rifle but the other items I can post and take paypal payments
      I'm in Warminster Wiltshire
      Thanks
