I suspected that. Milbros are around the 30 quid mark bud.

 

I dont like the limited attachment of these designs of catapult. It woukd be good if it had a flat head to take flatbands. You could obviously use some cord through the holes but over the top is preferred.

 

Thats why i only like the milbro pocket poacher.

 

That is a work of art though and a really nice intricate piece :thumbs:

 

Do use them?

 

Target or hunting/game shooting?

 

Or are they display pieces?

i use um mush, shooting rabbits, partridges, squriels and phesants

Milbro do hundreds of designs in all sorts of metals.

 

You can send your wooden catapults in to be cast in aluminium/ brass etc for about 70 quid.

 

Heres the pocket poacher with a hares head. Costs 38 quid.

Its a similar shape the the cattys i have just made out od MDF.

I like wood but if you want one that will last forever and not deteriorate then its well worth the money
