The pajero 2.8 is a good bus , for the money you cannot go wrong. driven light will do 30mpg, & with the difflocks will get you outa most sch*t with the right tyres on. £1000-1600 some jems out there. just wrong time of year for buying 4x4 !

Cheers for the replys, are u talking Lwb or short, I need enough boot space for a lurcher and ferreting gear, or yes and shopping and stuff, I like the trooper but I've only been past my test 2 1/2 year so think the insurance would do me for a 3.1, atb rc1

I have had a few over the years,Diahatsu it was an old one and was crap,Frontera 2.0 l sport pulled the horse box with a 15hh Cob no problem,Isuzu Bighorn 3.1 (import) M reg was a cracking tool both on and off road bit gutsy on fuel,02 +06 Freelander really good on and off road if I was to be a bit picky ground clearance could be a problem if you did any serious off roading

Santons, I wouldn't be off roading as such just driving in fields shooting out of the windows and driving to setts with ferrets and stuff, also it would be my family car aswell, are the petrol freelanders any good, there seems to be some cheep ones about

Cheers rc1

diffs are hopeless on freelanders, they break incessantly, gearboxes can be iffy on rangers, 5th gear fails, id agree 3.1 trooper takes some beating, make sure the chassis is ok though, especially at the back end.

Hi, we're having a sudden rat infestation on our small holding in North Cotswolds. Wondering if there are any people around with ratting dogs who want a bit of work?
