If it is the later Series 1, same as mine then the newer headlamps are a straight swap, dead easy 10 minute job. From this: To this: Mine took longer because I've put 130W/90W Headlamp bulbs in and you have to rewire the circuit and put extra relays in. The later style lamps are about £30 odd each. Easy for you to get them from this place just by the Airport: http://www.lrparts.net/ They sell the soft A bar cheaper there too, and the wella spots. Hope that helps.
