Sound mate I wasn't planning on doing the whole pen just a bit up one side. I thought if I feed them on the straw in the pen when they see the ride they may know to feed on it.

having spoken to a number of keepers, old and very much older, they,ve all said the same, hand feed on straw, keep the vermin down, shoot it ,snare it, trap it,and they,ve also said about foxes recognising smells,in association with prey, and sounds one old fella said he,d not use call duck ,as brought foxes about, sunny spots and shelters for dusting, make it a place good for them and they,ll come back, was one anwser i got,and yes feedblocks feed vermin, so im not bothering,il stick to what iv been told, that works for the elders,it can have changed that much, what do you think?.

Moving water cans about and moldy feed in feeders etc. hand feeding is a thing of that past on big shoots. Qauds and spiners are the thing theses days , walking the rides feed storage bin to bin. Feeding rides early morn and late afternoon has to be some of the best and worst days of my life lol. Some great experiences foxes walking ahead of you coming at you stoats , deer etc etc The feed ride could suprise you
