for sale 2 poacher style bow backed ferret boxes . high quality made from alluminium chequer plate with stainless hinges and secure locking mechanism wont rot start to smell or break, very easy to clean and will last for ever . £30 or both for £50 you will never have to buy another ferret box again. can get hold of more if people are interested . pick up only rotherham area south yorkshire Attached File  ferret box.jpg   155KB   9 downloads

It's not bad at all mate it's 3mm thick so a wooden box about 9 mm or so would be pretty much same weight

if its full of straw its not going to make any difference when temp below freezing if its wood tin plastic or gold

When the going slow i like to sit on my ferret box with a cuppa i dont fancy sitting on that and i use a wooden box with two ,three inches of shaving's in the bottom i think it would be a lot colder

wood insulates alot better than metal....so on ya frosty cold mornings, it'd be freezing in the boxes. i wouldn't be surprised if you stuck to it, if it got very cold...lol
