Had a great morn on woodcock this morn,flushing 7 that i seen and accounting for 5 with a young 7month old springer making a nice retrieve on 1.The dogs flushed more but in the woods so although i heard them did not see them.Went for a half hour to a pool then this eve and had 2 mallard and a teal so good days shooting,just to add should of had a double on the woodcock but missed an easy bird.

We've been seeing them in big numbers, here. The dog flushed about 25 the day before yesterday, and probably 15 today. I've even managed to put a few on the ground. Of course, these birds aren't nearly as big as what you all have, but they're still good sport. And eating.

Nice to see......ours are just arriving from the continent, the next few weeks should see decent numbers arriving.
