Currently I'm mainly hunting with .....

.22 Theoben Scirroco Classic (circa '87), superb bit of kit

.20 Theoben Rapid Mk1, reliable as a reliable thing

.22 Theoben MFR (FAC), nice

.177 Thumbhole HW77, another keeper

.177 Heavily modded Pro-Target

.22 Modded S200, stupidly accurate and quiet

.22 Falcon 12" Litehunter

.25 BSA Spitfire, well got to have something for the rats and squizzers to play with

then there's powder burners and various other air plinkers. I've been quite good and cut down on my collection the last year, getting down to just those I use most, the last year has seen the selling on of

.22 Bowketted S10

.22 Spitfire

.177 Bowketted Hornet

.22 Modded Stealth (my NV rig, still thinking I should have kept it :()

2x .177 TXs (one SR)

.177 Handbuilt custom job

2x .177 S410s

.177 Harrier

.177 Rapid FT (another I should have kept)

There are many debates about calibres, rifles, scopes, zero, bipods and other accessories. People not only use their Rifles for hunting but for tgt shooting aswell.

To replace a complete rig can easily tip people over £1000 nowadays. However great results can be had of good simple springers. Some people are using springers! Some are using PCP's! Some are using Gas Rams!

So from purely a hunting perspective...........

What do you use

BTAS FX Cyclone in .177 - Nikko Stirling 6-24x56 IR - Harris Swivel Bipod - Z@30m

This fine rifle as you see it is now up for sale. I would like someone to pay over a grand for it but I am happy to accept £550.

Wishing you all the best,

Nik
