Available Ferreting in Cheshire, Nantwich and Tarpoly

Right lads, unusual offer. Looking for a buddy, preferably on their own that has their own equipment. I have acquired what is said to be a rather decent amount of land that is wanted rid of rabbits in between Nantwich and Tarpoly, in Cheshire. I will be bringing my equipment, but we ideally need to make use of a few long nets. The key however, is that dogs are NOT allowed.

 

So. What is on offer?

• Hopefully 2 full days ferreting (A Saturday and Sunday).
  
• A very decent bag of rabbits from a never hunted resource.
  
• A pint at the end of the day.
  

What we ask is that anyone who joins us:

• Has at least a few yards of long nets, as I currently have none, but am looking to borrow some for this job.
  
• Is able to have their own transport out to the area.
  
• Has their own equipment in terms of ferrets, boxes and locators (I have 3 ferrets, but more would be ideal for 2 days).
  
• Does not need to be able to do 2 days. If only a Saturday or Sunday is suitable, we will take that offer.
  
• Is a sound lad who has at least a season of experience under their belts. We're not asking for experts, just someone to help out.
  

This is not an offer for time wasters. If you want to travel from a huge distance, you can, but we will not be contributing to the fuel costs. Unfortunately, we are unable to find the funds to do so. If you are someone who has no respect for the land or someone who is not willing to be respectful to us, then no need to apply.

 

Otherwise, this will be on a first come, first serve basis and we hope to be on the land in the next two weeks (6-7 October OR 13-14 October).

wouldnt mind haveing ago but it would be me and my mate as there his ferrets and nets and i drive but no long nets but might be able to borrow some and were not to far from you pm me if interested

I could help you out, but it would be me and my ferreting buddy. We both have ferrets nets , long nets and stop nets, we also have permission over Tarpoly way we could look at as we'll. Atb John
