I was at a small gamefair on sunday and was chatting to a lady from the red squirrell trust who asked if i would be interested in testing any greys i had killed for this pox thing they carry you know the one that kills the reds but doesnt affect the greys ??

so anyway i said i would be happy to help in any way i could but just wondered if anyone on here was doing it ?

I will do john, she's sending me all the details with the kit for testing them and she has promised to call me this week aswell so will keep ya all updated !

basically all i would be doing is taking a blood sample and posting it off !

I may have a grey cull coming up soon. I would think that the landowners may well be interested in this. A few details to be sorted out yet, but will let you know.
