after much thought i opted for the Baikal for the marsh, 3" or 3 1/2" GB mammoths and its done the job so far. have Berettas for other stuff, but for something that spends most of its time propped up in a gutter cant fault it, not pretty but bloody effective.

nowt wrong with a baikal my dad had 1 for many yrs for doin the foxes with.quite robust guns they are.

think il be back at the lakes tonight see if them geese are moving.the river which is not very far away from the lakes is over the bank.so the birds wont be on there.so may get them droping in on the lakes.

theres bloody lakes springing up all over the bleedin place, wish the rain would stop. saw twenty mallard afloat on the football pitch when i took the boy to school this morning
