I am just above you toby, alot of pinks around at the moment, all my wildfowling is inland its strange really, I am a stones throw off the solway but stick to my ponds, will try and flight some of these pinks this year though, can I ask what shot size are you using for them,I like 4s over the pond for mallards, which seem big but this steel game, you need it,

Bet it wont be long before your daughter ,wants to shoot her own goose mate and that would be a proud moment for any farther, well done good bag,

after much thought i opted for the Baikal for the marsh, 3" or 3 1/2" GB mammoths and its done the job so far. have Berettas for other stuff, but for something that spends most of its time propped up

I agree I have had all sorts in my time,I have spent fortunes on guns, I have vowed not to do that again, I have a nice sxs 20 gauge in case I go pheasant shooting a semi 20 gauge that my boy insists on using when we got out,a sxs 410, then I will buy this hatsan as a work horse 26'' barrel for hide work 30'' for the bb's for foxes and any wildfowling I need to do,where do you get your 3 inch shells from mate???

I never got on with the beneli,I have tried browning and shot the winchester sx3 but just wanted something I didnt have to worry about I remember years ago on the wash, at shep whites with my new barreta, I swear I was watching the rust growing up the barrel, I know I probably wasnt but and I was being probably paranoid, but this gun will get some abuse,I bought my 20 gauge semi auto midland three year ago and its been spot on,no jams as such reliable good to shoot, and resiliant in all weathers, worth the money I paid for it, I have not been able to fault it,it always boils down to personal preference, but getting the heavier shot for them is difficult, for the foxes,so had to go back to 12 gauge
