I went earlier to a quarry site to find 200 plus Geese on the lake they was honking and i knew they was going to get up and here is the finished results and when i got home this is my daughter.

nice shooting i was working up around morcombe out on the flats
for some dairy farmers last year i have to say iv never seen so many geese
in an area the skys was black literly great shooting up there you dont tend
to see many geese down my way

plenty of geese only problem is finding a club with vacancies, unless you have inland access can be tricky. day tickets often the best option

:D :D :D :hmm: its difficult to argue with that one :victory:

however i still like my trips to the marsh to sit in a muddy gutter. just a shame im in such a popular area, then at least i am in a club. plenty of lads round here struggling to get in anywhere

no toby, not been able to get in anywhere local ive had to join westmorland up on the R Kent nr Arnside, hoping to maybe get an associate on MBWA if i'm lucky next year. lytham, fylde, preston, southport all full or closed the book on new members.

i suppose it be ok for geese and duck round arnside and silverdale pal i use to go fishing round there barraboy.

yeah get the occassional pinks, some greylag and canadas about, plus plenty of mallard, wigeon pintail goldeneye teal all found up there its decent enough just a long drive when ive two or three marshes 20 minutes from the house or less :((
