Can it be done? Is it possible? Everybody has there own ideas....... But now we have the answer.

 

3 lads I know have been away for a few days up north,,, the first night Monday they had 110 ,with 3 dogs,,, the second night Tuesday,, they had 231 rabbits,,,,, this was between 4 dogs,,,,

 

The dog that got most had 101,,,, exceptional I think you would all agree,,,, the next dog got 62 , then 49 ,,, and the last dog had,, 19.

 

Not only are those scores very impressive, but they come on the back of the night befor,,, they also went out again last night,,, but I'm yet to find out the scores...

 

Anyway a big well done to the lads,,, and more importantly to the dogs,, and I know a few farmers that will be very impressed with this pest control....

When you compare these numbers with shooting, that makes it all the more impressive, and it didn't cost a fortune in bullets or cartridges either! And no carcases blown to bits or full of pellets.

well done the dogs but dont think it would to hard if you had the numbers and so early in the season the hardest thing about it would be carrying them as you say great pest control atb

Yes mate,,, but not at the mo,,, as it's remote where they are at the min..... Hopefully they will do a thread when they get back at the weekend,,,,with a few pics.

Yeah i did Tomo 4 dogs were working away mate.

 

Playing Devils advocate here somewhere along the line and prob on a few occassions mishaps would happen where as dogs join in other dogs runs and kills ie, by accident or more than one dog off at a time on differing bunnys 1 misses then joins in another dogs run kill ect.

 

 

 

Feck me max.......shurly you dont think 4 lads all walked together,,,,,, i dont think it could be done if you all walked together,,,,I think they split up mate,,,,,,in my experience it's harder to get big bags for 1 dog when you walk together cos you have to cover twice as much ground,,,, yes the dog gets a rest,,,,but that's the only benefit
