DiStuRBeD 0
Hi guys, Dont know if you can get kangaroo over there, but if you do and want to try it here is some decent recipes. http://www.kangaroo-industry.asn.au/recipes/recipe_frame.htm if you do get it and anyone is interested i'll get some more for yas Kangaroo tastes gamey, ive found the best meat is pink, the more stronger meat is deep dark red/brown I eat a fair bit of it in summer, on the bbq. The best roo i have ever eaten was shot by me the night before, hung in a tree the in the morning we cut off some of the back flap and fried it in the fire, bloody ripper it was. so soft and tender. Simoman 110
Had kangaroo with sweet potatoes and a holandaise sauce last year in Darling Harbour Sydney, best meal i've ever had. Think maybe the surroundings helped Edited January 17, 2006 by Simoman
DiStuRBeD 0
yeah its great stuff, it appears more and more ppl are trying it over here, i see it in the shops, used to be a small section, but its slowly growing in size, probably doubled in the last year at the local shops anyway
