this man probley bred some of the best dogs in uk

salty and sooner are well know in the uk and ireland

and there ofspring

willie came from same town in lancashire as me' iv been to nocturn fen etc' years ago n watched some ov his dogs run iv seen sooner n salty run as well' n saltys owner joe only lives bout a mile from me.. willie defo new his stuff on the courseing scene n bred some top stuff' his blood lines r still going strong today n so thay should be.. R.I.P

In Scarisbrick nr Southport is a resteraunt and pub, Master McGraths, dedicated to the memory of Willy Tough. I met and chatted with him many times but sadly, never went out for a run with him, a cracking bloke.

yes he loved his dogs and coursing

and after a days coursing back to pub for a great sing song for a man that dident drink he sure could get the crack going

i coursed many of time with him and the lads he was a true gent in all words

rip old friend

this has all the makings of a great thread keep it going lads
