I hear a bloke called lardy is already copying the idea...

 

Lardy happens to be the first person to let out how these units are made in great detail.. Its the work of Lardy thats upsetting alot of people as hes basicly giving you all the info you need to build your own LED,

 

Search LARDYVISION on Youtube.. Some of the night footage he is getting with his unit and IR is amazing!

 

The whole Cree type IR as been around for time, its how its put together thats making the difference...

seems there is a vidio on how to make a mag light with aspherical lens on you tube. made in September 2009.just type in to you tube ( worlds second farest throwing led flashlight ) and watch the other vids this lads made as he shows you how to do it

ttheres a few about within that spec.. if it has one trim pot its just a voltage reg, if it has two it has volts and amps controll, three pots are usualy charger but work much like the two pot ones.
