Recommended Posts

Anyone going this year, not really into showing, but i will bring along my new Pup who will be 6 months.

look out for a retired gentleman in his 60s with a black Pup white chest and white on paws and stop me for a crack.

nice to put some faces to names on here.

Yeh, its not a good show, just thought there would be a few on here for the crack,

the only one I used to go to, was Lowther, enough going on to keep you occupied all day, this one i went when it first changed to Drumlanrig, I walked round the whole show in ten mins.

Hi, I'm using a friends account to say that originally there was not going to be a lurcher / terrier show this year 2013. I contacted the organisers and they are going to let me know on Monday if the lurcher / terrier show is now back on. It would be nice to hear from members on here their views on the show and if they would attend. Cheers

To be honest I wouldn't attend if its only a gamefair without the show, but at the same time I won't attend if they don't give the show organiser a bit of good ground, 2 years ago was a perfect pitch, last year the bit of ground they gave del to run a show on was poor.

Galloway show isnt worth going if there isnt the dog show on...

Del runs a great show

Agree with the above post about last years spot not being as good as the year before.

Racing too

Finally they have gotten back to me and it's a no go for the show, their loss. I am guessing by their correspondence that they have contacted Del and explained their reasons.

Game fair = Showcasing country pursuits and rural life and all things attached to them, obviously terriers and lurchers don't fit in there now lol. Never mind, those who do turn up (not me) can buy some lovely hand made jewellery !!!

Was a pitiful excuse of a gamefair anyway I think its on its way out, we won't be going this year
