Try Currys, twenty quid each, packs of two. We use them on the shoot with no bother and they can be used with most other makes I believe.

We use the 'Binatone' with no problem. If others come in on our chosen frequency, usually children, we just tell em it's a police frequency... ...they soon change their station..

We use the same ones Mike, they are fine and the range is around 2 miles I think, we had some cheeky little git come on our frequency last year but it made us chuckle the banter we had with him........

I have used these UNIDEN for a couple of years and they have been fine with a decent range even in terrain full of obstacles to break up the signal.....
