It depends whether the clay ground has a police exemption (a Section 11(6) permit) and as long as your friend is not a "Prohibited Person" under Section 21 of the Firearms Act (1968). Most clay grounds welcome visitors but it may be worth a quick phone call to check.

Its the same system over here - everything is fine once you sign the various insurance, wavers etc.
