socks 32,253 Posted July 20, 2005 Report Share Posted July 20, 2005 i finally got some time to myself today so i decided to get the boat out on the usk reservoir the day started drizzly and dull and the fish were reluctent to bite but they soon fell foul to my wiley ways ... the first 2 perch and the small trout were taken with a nice black head booby fished deep ... the large perch and the 2 big trout were taken on the dry fly when the sun finally broke throughe the cloud .... they were taken on a black tadpole and a copper headed olive .... here are some pics of the scenery here is the days bag ...... and best of all on my way home god must have been smiling at me as he presented me with this little beauty .........
