Morpeth Hunt Hound and Dog Show. Northumberland.

first time at the morpeth show for me good day had by all. Can someone tell me if there is anymore coming up

 

The Morpeth one is only on once a year. There will be more in other parts of the North East and Borders :thumbs:

A couple of youngins, who seemed very keen, to go home with a dog of their own. !!!

Come along to the show, and just meet people and say hello. You won't feel out of place. You will enjoy it. I have just spoken to the organiser,- apart from one small damp area the field is fine.

Good day out who was the guy selling the leather work?

 

If that was the guy making the couplings, leads and traps, etc, in the countryside Marquee; it's Douggie. if youy need anything from him, contact Gin on here, they are mates. :thumbs:

I eventualy got there at 2 after the lad we were supposed to go thro with screwed me over 15 mins before we were supposed to get picked up. Finaly sorted a lift tho, good fee lads there with good banter tho .

was a good show well done to the judges a lot a nice dogs there a got a first in smooth over 24 second in edrd class and fourth in vetrans well happy way that so all three dogs got something the rest a show was good aswell thank god there was two judges or would have been there to 9 o clock a think well done to over all champ and res champ both nice dogs well done evryone for a good day thanks

                                                     at the IRISH GAME FAIR, Shanes Castle, Antrim on the 29/30 June.
      1. FIVE NATIONS WHIPPET CHAMPIONSHIP
      2. FIVE NATIONS LURCHER CHAMPIONSHIP
      3. FIVE NATIONS TERRIER CHAMPIONSHIPS
      4. MASTER MC GRATH LURCHER CHALLENGE  Two dogs to qualify from each show ( over and under 23")
      5. MICK THE MILLER CHALLENGE for Traditional HAIRY LURCHERS any size. Two to qualify from each show. 
      EACH CHAMPIONSHIP HAS £200 to the Winner £50 to the Runner Up plus other prizes and quality trophies.   As the 31st ANNUAL All Ireland Championships ( Showing & Racing) also take place this weekend ( which are open all ) qualifiers can have a real opportunity to compete for titles and prizes with the best of Irish dogs. 
      To recognise the additional costs of coming to the event for GB qualifiers, they get FREE tickets to the show and special ferry and accommodation rates and each GB qualifying event organiser gets £50 for their best in show winner.

      Fell and moorland wtc are holding in there summer show again in good old Lancashire. 
      Get yourself and the family down to support this club. All the cash made gose back to the members if they have a dog stuck and need a rescue. 
      All the usual classes for the terriers and the running dogs. Champion bull X  and child handler for the kids! 
      And Anyone wanting to show there Bedlingtons we have a class for them as well. 
      Qualifiers for champion of champions at the Midlands, Pride of the peaks and more!
