is there a train station near by the show ?

I'm just glad to be able to offer him a lift off my mate, be close to my terriers whelping time but I'll be up with the lurchers :victory:

It's 6 mile from the station to the show field, them young'uns should be able to jog that in about 20 minutes !! LOL !! Good call Bear, for fixing them up with a lift ! :thumbs:

No ferrets will be at this show, because of the distemper outbreak among ferrets.

I might, depends upon the weather. Then again even when i do i forget to take photos :doh:

      Unfortunately this will be the last one, as the East of England ground have decided its no longer profitable
      and will not be continuing after this year with the Autumn show, so hope people will come along and show their support.
       
       
      Sunday 8th October
       
      At:
       
      East of England Showground
      Peterborough
      PE2 6XE
       
      Simulated Coursing for Lurchers, followed by Straight Racing Overs and Unders for Lurchers, and Whippet and Terrier Racing.
       
      Booking in from 8.00am
       
       
      Open Showing from approx 12.30 with classes for Lurchers and Terriers will be back again this year, with rosettes and trophies.
       
       
      (The day will also feature the British Supreme Lurcher Championship organised by Pat Quant at 10.30am)
       
      There'll also be Long Jump and other things to keep you occupied all day!
       
      Stalls, food etc too.
       
      A good fun day out, well run, and all profits go to support Lurcher Link - lurcher specialist rescue.
