Hi lads and lasses,   This is a range and field test review I have just completed on my new custom BSA r10 Mk 2 that I purchased earlier this week from Tony Wall at Sandwell Field Sports.   I hope

Great demonstration of Marksmanship Si with your new toy....Looking forward to seeing the vid with your new Springer in .22 Flavor

The screw cut allows you to fit a silencer of your choice, and its also a lot quieter than a standard shroud mate.   I'm getting the walnut thumb hole adjustable MFR from Theoben Rifles (.22), then

Hi Si,

Great shooting, watched the vid at about 11 last night :laugh:

looks like you have got yourself a great shooter there.

Why the screw cut barrel instead of the normal shroud? does that effect the accuracy? i know it has some effect on the sound.

Where are you getting your MFR from?

Keep up the great work

I'm getting the walnut thumb hole adjustable MFR from Theoben Rifles (.22), then its off to Ben Taylor for the once over and a full length Ben Taylor custom Huggett shroud and silencer like the MFR in the picture pal.

Its going to be my main day time hunting combo and if all comes to plan it will be my best air rifle ever.

Si.

That's a Nutshot Carbon Twin stage Mod with Air Stripper in bottom of the detachable Silencer on the MFR Si ;),

The Hugget is i think Aluminium but still looks good bud, And Welcome to the Rapid Fellowship "Soon" :) :) :)

Sorry mate yeah your right here is the Huggett shroud.

I been told that the 140 pound is for the shroud ,but the silencer is "part " of the shroud lol see I thought it wasnt right..so its actually.185 quid for it. Has anyone had experience with this huggett, and is it worth that much ?

Hi Si great video, I am looking to buy an r10mk2 and found one in my local dealers today, but after leaving I realised that it didn't have the shroud and it had a silencer on the end. Did any come like this as standard or has it been modified?

I,m new to air rifles so could do with some advice so I don't buy one that's not 100% new

Thanks

Ken

I was in bobs today talking to the big guy about 12ish, was shouldering a few guns and seeing what he had in. My dad purchased a shrouded version couple years back so will be able to get them in for you. He's can be abit slow with things tho

Hi

The one you have seen is BSA R 10 mk2 vc .Means no shroud but with a silencer

oh right thanks I didn't realise they came in different versions, to be honest I think I preferred the look of the silencer version. Plus the one in stock was a .22 and I think I may be better off with a 1.77 for accuracy for a newcomer (I also like the speed of the pellet hitting the target after you fire it, there's almost no delay )
