stainless barrels

Stainless barrels are a lot easier to screw cut, than a crome moly barrel, it cuts cleaner, and doesn,t dull the tools as quick, plus the thread doesn,t need blueing afterwards. Give me stainless any day of the week.

Yeh a strong/hard metal but good i plan to rebarrel my 22.250 & like the remmy light varmint on border-barrel's site.I like it for it's water resistent property but sure they can suffer from corrotion from powder's or some thing like that inside the barrel best ask border-barrel's etc about that im not sure.

I have the tikka t3 varmint in stainless. and its great. stainless was already dulled off. i like it because i don't worry so much about rain and mud splashes. although i do wipe it doen after every outing

What Coupe312 said. I've got the same rifle, no shine, now the Remmy stainless, ya need sunglasses but they both look great :thumbs-up: (I freely admit to buying mine for the looks factor  worked too!).
