For Sale Tapered Lurcher collars ......... made properly

Been asked a few times for these, could never be arsed trying them before, but a bad man asked me to make some and I'm scared of him

 

3 Layers of 2" polypropylene webbing, cut to shape and heat sealed at each end, then double stitched 1mm from the edge, these aren't coming apart any time soon!

 

1" wide 3 ply strap over the top of that, loads of proper stitching using bonded nylon thread, solid brass buckle and dee.

 

Note the position of the dee ........ normally in collars of this type the dee is the weakest point, not in the fckers it isn't! any pulling force on the dee is absorbed by 5 layers of webbing, no more pulled out / twisted / offset dees.

 

Dee is spaced from the buckle to ensure they don't touch.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

£20 each, inc 2 x 20mm wide slip leads (colours of slips may vary) and inc postage by 1st class recorded.

 

In truth these will be a bit stiff to start with, but with a bit of wear will soon soften up, definitely quicker than a leather one.

 

 

I can make a narrower version, 40mm wide strap with 20mm buckle to suit smaller dogs, the one in the photo is to fit a 15 - 20" neck.

 

Obviously also in all the usual colours etc.

 

Any divs who feel the need to post stuff like "they're shit" etc, don't just post it, show me what is shit about them, and show me better quality, better made, more easily cared for etc.

No mate, the strap goes over the top of where the letters would be.

Just looked again at the price, I think I priced them too high, once I get a template done in the week from a bit of marine ply they won't take as long to make, so they'll be £20 inc postage and 2 slip leads.
