Today was a much better day weather wise, at least the lads could actually get a spade through the soil today.

Fantastic start to the day, Neil was making bacon butties and tea when we pulled up at 9am, a very welcome treat after a 2.5hr drive

 

It was slow going i think the most we got out of a set was 8 and the least 1, but thanks to Keepa we never dug an empty set.

 

It was good to have Rude boy back on his first trip out for nearly a month, very few bolters made it to saftey..

 

 

And he only went and did it again, thankfully no keepers present

 

 

 

 

Unless of course if they ran at Boo, he bit, and if it looked like they were going to bite back, he left them to go on their merry way

No, not feeding anymore Paul, most of the feeders are back in store now. This shoot is huge, and i mean MASSIVE, all different types of cover crop.

There are just so many rats here you don't need to leave food out

No, not feeding anymore Paul, most of the feeders are back in store now. This shoot is huge, and i mean MASSIVE, all different types of cover crop.

there was definitly some rather large rats there moll on the shoots here as soon as the food stops and the weather turns they all head for the farm buildings

They would have to cover a fair few miles to get back there on this place Paul

Ive never seen such fat healthy rats before in my life, they are getting the best quality food, plus i imagine the worm treatment etc for the birds will also help keep them fit

ive only had rats that big at land fill and sewerage farms, they thrive in such enviorments
