Millet 4,497 Posted December 16, 2011 Report Share Posted December 16, 2011 Here's a few pheasant picture's for you i took a few year's back..the ones he caught in these picture's where caught within 100yrd's but they where not full grown adult's..the other one's where and he will of flown them over the 700yrd mark he never nailed the one's you see him chasing in these picture's that are not in his feet.. Millet 4,497 Posted December 16, 2011 Report Share Posted December 16, 2011 It's a shame you are not closer Milo..it would be around a 5/6hr drive for me..if i win the lotto ill buy a helicopter and nip down for some day's flying.. ..have fun matey and focus on the bunnies with hopefully a mate ferreting for you..any feather is a bonus but dont be disheartened at this time of the year if you have no luck as they are pretty fit and wised up now.. He liked them gamebirds mate . it always seems second nature to a male Gos to chase game, they find them pretty hard to resist virtually from the word go. I have no doubt he will do a Rabbit this year when he is shown a consistant few put up in front of him . in the past all the males I have had not one up until now has refused Rabbits, I even had a 3/4 German male that took them flying around 1lb 4, at the moment this boy flying a good few onces than this is at a loss what the game is. He needs to see a few more pushed out infront of him but they are thin on the ground here at the moment, its a nightmare ferreting holes which are none productive but I'm on a mission to have him on them by the end of the season. if you get Gengoid over after xmas we'll hit some land that should give your bird and mine a good oportunity ..........
