air rifle user insurance

whats the point in having insurance if your not covered !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

i started pest cover for a farmer around his builds, mainly controlling rats with rodenticides. towards winter last year the population exploded so i asked for permission to shoot with my air rifle. permission was granted. soon after i asked a mate to assist as they were breeding faster than i could cull. i also asked him to take out insurance for obvious reasons........ i mentioned this to the farmer, showing a professional attitude, (both ins).

 

soon after an incident occured with the rifles that needed hospital treatment and 1 week off work.

 

both being insured with the same company, it appeared a straight forward claim procedure........

 

after endless phone calls, the company state the policy only covers any parties without a policy with them.

i did post on a few forums.. the more the better.....

 

yep deffo read the small print........... no names mentioned due to being sued...lol 4 LETTERS though.......
