LIGHTER NIGHTS

Recommended Posts

Now that the nights are getting lighter the lamp has all but been put away and I tend to

go out with the air rifle in the last couple of hours before it gets too dark to shoot.

Last night I was out from 6.45-8.15pm and managed to bag 11 rabbits.10 full sized

ones which were skinned for the butcher and a half sized one I used as a dummy

for the lurcher pup.

I was using RWS Superdomes, lighter than AA hunter so don't drop as quickly. :)

Nice one, been doing a bit myself, it keeps me out of trouble - well kind of

Ive just got one of those cheap crappy chinese things, its not very good, but it does for bagging the odd bunny off the railway embankments, and it keeps the old collie lurcher in a job too

I have one of those chinese guns as well a B2 in .177 calibre.

I used to kill a lot of rabbits with it :) But last summer it started to

spray pellets all over the place  I changed the scope but it

didn't make any difference,tried it without a scope,still couldn't

group the pellets :(

Now it just lies in the corner of the room gathering dust :hmm:
