Thanks Tomo..what a great night..Best score for me so far.It was very good of you to let us come... anyone who says there easy rabbits up north must be mad..them slopes are bloody steep..very challenging runs in some spots..That dog of yours is a credit to you.Im off to bed now.

Yes mate..my little lad and his granny had a baking day just for us.. The mince pies were great with a cuppa half way round last night..and the chocolate fudge was heavenly..LOL.

 

I think we should organise a THL Xmas dinner..LOL.

 

If all i had to do was get a cake sorted for a night out like last night I would be MASTER BATER>>BAKER ..I mean.. LOL.

she is about 2 and half now ...she,s had some abuse in the past and it has been a lot of hard work getting her to trust anyone again...but she,s getting there slowly..sometimes its 1 step forward and 10 steps back.

i,ll stick some picks up when i get chance.

once again, thanks for the invite Tomo. it was a good experience for both me and my pup and nice to see your dog work, ive got to go out tonight to make his overall catch rate upto a 100 rabbits so far.

he was 8 months old tuesday.

 

so hes 8 months and 3 days old today.

had another look up there last night,, i had two thl fellas up for a run Trigger and Vin. the night wasnt the best weather wise with vertualy no wind,, but it was dark so you make the most of it.

 

so off up that bloody fell again , (feck knows why men go hiking),, and we started to catch a few, nice and steady,,

unfortunatly cos of the weather the numbers wernt as great,, so we had to move 3 times,, and catch a few here and there, wich worked ok,,, in the end we ended up with a respectable 41, a good night with 2 good guys, poor trigger had a 2 hour drive after leaving me ,,, so fair plat to him,,,, and thank you to vin for driving back, cos i was fecked.... thats why this is a short post ,,, to fecking tiered to think what to wright

i had Venus torchy,, well we know trigger cought 13,,and what a 13th catch, that was one of those runs that will stick with me,, it realy was a great rabbit, and in all honesty i would have liked it to escape , im fairly shure venus cought in the high teens, and vins little bitch cought the rest.....

 

vins little bitch is a nice quik bitch , with a nice fast strike,,,, to think what happened to this dog befor he had it is truly shoking,, so what hes done is great.

 

triggers dog is a powerfull beast for shure, had i realised he was 2 short of 100 overall i would have gave him a few more, but it was 6.20 am when we drove off the fell. in fact its a shame we didnt have longer, as both dogs im shure would have got 20 each.
