Cocker, you're a daywalker !! What do you know about lamping ?? LOL !! If I ever come out lamping with you mate, I'll let you carry the car battery; you're younger than me !

small lamps like the cluelite ect work fine in small fields but are useless at any distance as the beam just widens out to nothing, the blitz however is also good in small fields but can cope with the larger fields aswell. no brainer in my book.

aye back then they were the only things you had, and you rigged it all up yourself, like mentioned earlier, you could lamp anywhere really, not many people knew what the lamp was, there was no one else about after 11pm, and no mobile phones,

when your out and you get the odd rabbit etc running towards the lamp a brighter lamp will defintly dazzle it more than a less powerful light but apart from that cant see any difference myself ,

If someone shone a lazer in my eyes, it would blind me; if someone shone a candle in my eyes it wouldn't ! We are talking about lamps between 500,000 cp and 2 mcp, not a massive difference in the scheme of things ! Istill say the Blitz 240 is the best lamp I PERSONALY , have used;but everyone to their own !

Cheers.

I'd love to know how many people have actualy ran a lot of game, over a decent period with different lamps, to be such experts on which lamp is best !! Over the past 45 years, I've seen lamps improve so much, and the best I've used is the Blitz 240 !! All this crap about rabbits running different under various lamps is laughable !! The better the lamp, the more you keep the quarry in the beam, simple as !!

Cheers.

just because you'v been in the game the longest doesnt mean you kno more than others....
ill shine a clulite in your eyes from 50 yards away and then a 240 blitz im sure you will get further with the clulite in your eyes!! i dont think im an expert on lamps but it isnt rocket science toi kno the more powerfull the lamp the blinder the quarry will be...

Are you a hunter????? Thats the usual shite the antis spout, i have lamped thousands of quarry and NEVER have i blinded any of them, thats the old wives tales the antis push mate, are you a virgin lamper????????????

twat, are you a virgin full stop? f****n virgin lamper yah cheek twat! im out on the lamp more times a week than most on this site half of yah spend too much time on here too be out doing yah dogs justice and as for being and anti you can come round my house wenever you like and you'll see wether im an anti or not when you see the dogs we use...
its must be a massive coincidence that the rabbits and 'other' quarry weve ran our dogs at under the 240 blitz run differently too running under the smaller lamps...

Ive used just about every lamp thats been available at the time over the years...since the introduction of the lightforce range there is no other lamp out there that can compete. Personally i prefer the Striker over the Blitz simply because i find it easier to handle. To me the blitz cas be a bit cumbersome when climbing fences and gates and such. Also using a Blitz from a vehicle causes a severe amount of drag when your lamping at speed. So to sum up i prefer the Striker over the Blitz not because of beam length/strength but purely for comfort reasons...atb stabba
Edited to add...ive never seen a fox or rabbit run any differentley whether using the striker or blitz or any other species to come to that. A lamp is a lamp imo...The method used may however sway the way a course concludes....anybody can use a lamp..but not everybody can use 1 properly...atb stabba
