I Bought a new fridge today.....

Recommended Posts

Strange you should mentioned buying a new fridge Bill: I had my new fridge freezer deliver a few weeks ago.. Just a normal white job, not fancy like yours, 50/50.. I got it from John Lewis, did you know they give a 2 year guarantee as standard unlike the likes of currys who only give you 1 year.. And 99p cheaper..

Nice to see so many guys on here taking an interest in household appliances too much talk of rifles and hunting..

Hi Mary.

Thanks for that little gem of information, John Lewis are clearly consumer aware :toast:

The 99p saving could be put towards a nice Air Arms badge to sew on my jacket :boogy:

Cookers ?.....now theres a thing :hmm:

Although its nice to have a permanant arrangment for home use, I would give serious thought to a mobile unit that could be utilised in the field for when campfire cooking is not a viable option.

Choosing the right model is proving to be quite a headache :hmm:

I've been thinking along the same lines, take a look at this link:

Only problem is they don't do them in a pink camo to match my hunting outfit.

Excellent bits of kit, seen many of these while on outings on Dartmoor, families and walkers picnicing.

Could you not take it to a custom paint shop for the Pink camo ?

Im sue Mike could do it

Now I prefer a dual fuel cooker myself, electric fan oven and a gas hob..

A fan oven gives you a even temp and a gas hob reacts instantly ..

But alas in our village we don't have gas so electric for me... :cray:
