dixiebop 125 Posted September 24, 2011 Report Share Posted September 24, 2011 Just out the bath after along soak,legs are like lead, Started back beating this morning,Took my wee sealy/lucas X with me,First port of call,The Ducks,would they fly?,think the pond was to comfy 1/2 didn't want to leave the water,dogs swimming around,but They just wouldn't lift,Few shots,an a few Hits !next the Patridge,but on the first drive Snipe a plenty,Hits 0 they dont half shift an Rusty guns well! first bird the wee yin puts up Pheasant,not on todays menu !plough on.Moss soaked ground feels like your walking on sponges. do the woods an a good few Patridge put out an shot ,last bit swung round the back of the one out of the wood and a few more Good shots !.Weather was great, company was great and light hearted ,just reminds me why I have Dogs,2 ducks for my pleasure.Good day gents,see you all in fortnight.
