foxdropper 17,092
You will find that once a trap has caught it will catch soon after as the smell of the gland will stay on the trap for quite some time .Been a while now but i always used to squeeze the urine out of a mink onto traps just like with a stoat and this definately helped especially in spring ..The young are dispersing this time of year and a good ploy is to set two traps back to back with a bait in between .Had more than my fair share of double catches using this set up .Another killer set is to either utilize a fallen log across the water or to create your own with a box tunnel setting .Only really useful where the stream is shallow enough to wade to retrieve the catches . 1 Quote Link to post
