no mate

plenty of steel carts in 2 3/4 inch

i use mirage 2 3/4inch 32g steel loads for duck

 

i know a bloke who uses his homeloaded no 7s in steel, they are really good cartridges over flightpond (closer range than coastal fowling) they are 2 3/4 inch carts

u hav a lanber?

with quarter and open chokes that will fire normal steel loads, get something around 32g and no 4 or 5s

they will do the business on ducks over flightponds!

and they arent expensive either

 

if you want better carts get bismuth or itm, plenty of loads in 2 3/4 inch again, better killing range but alot more money!

Excuse me if im being blond but dont steel carts only come in 3 inch?? Sorry if its stupid question guys!

No i used 65mm on monday night i used to own a lanber and they can fire 3inch mag it ,ll tell you on the gun

 

not all lanbers have 3inch chambers!

shame we cant use it at all in england

although with the laws in scotland it can be easily misjudged

 

the lead ban in england is stupid but if we dont adhere to the law we risk losing everything!

its not all as bad as some make out though, majority of guns will fire steel and alot of the steel loads are as cheap (if not cheaper) than lead loads
