Unfortunately for the petty criminals its not just me and the antis, more and more of the public do give a shit.....

 

If that wasn't the case would the TV companies have bothered to make a series about wildlife crimes? With more programs planned. Granted the current series is abysmal but then its not made for the likes of you or I.

Yes Phil, it certainly is Im not going to swear or start name calling, just i think there is a country mile between a dog taking a rabbit and mugging old ladies, i really dont think you can put the two on a level playing field, and truth be known, unless its a raging anti no sane member of the general public thinks like that anyway.......

As someone who has yet to stalk deer (lack of time, funds and knowledge), i would comment that although I don't disagree with the principle of people taking the odd rabbit with dogs, the use of dogs on deer is a bit more of an issue.

 

From my understanding deer stalkers choose their quarry according to age/sex time of year etc, if they do how do the poachers do this as once a dog is let off it may just take a different deer?

Poaching on a small scale cannot and will not ever be on a par with the deeds you speak of GP .The only distinction between a poacher and the man with permission is what side the fence he shoots from .I would say that each and every one of us has at some time stretched the boundary a bit [not you of course GP but all normal ,morally sound field sport fanatics as frequent this site] .If i didnt have permission i would have no choice but to roam as its in me to hunt ,no getting away from that .You need to stop writing shit and post a thread thats interesting and get away from the keyboard crap as its getting boring .
